notMYkid Took a Stand on 4/20
notMYkid's 420 parent awareness and prevention campaign on April 19th was a major success. As a result of our efforts over the last week, numerous families received free drug test kits, information, and the tools to form customized family drug prevention plans. Our founder, Debbie Moak, our staff members, our peer educators, Rural/Metro staff, law enforcement representatives, and local anti-drug coalitions were on hand at several locations, speaking with proactive parents and grandparents, answering questions, and offering encouragement.
We at notMYkid would like to thank First Check and Rural/Metro for partnering with us, and for their tireless efforts during the campaign. We couldn’t have done it without you. Through our combined efforts, a number of local and national families now have the resources and information necessary to prevent drug use among their children and teens.
