Steve and Debbie Moak face teen drug abuse issues within their family.

1999

notMYkid founded by Steve and Debbie Moak and psychologist Dr. Mark Rohde. 

2000

notMYkid incorporated as a 501(c)3

2001

notMYkid.org website launched

2001

notMYkid begins its first drug education programs.  Steve and Debbie Moak present to groups in the US and Europe.

2001

notMYkid Executive Director hired

PEAK program launched (Parent Education and Action for Kids)

2002

ClearChoices program begins teens talking to teens about relationships lost, health jeopardized and other consequences of their choices.

2003

Project 7th Grade researched and developed

2004

ClearChoices audience grows to 23,000 students per year

2004

Steve Moak, Todd Stottlemyre , Dan Marjele, and Rob Fredrickson, Kevin Gadawaski and others invest in First Check Diagnostics LLC  in support of Project 7th Grade

2005

First Check makes $1M funding commitment to roll Project 7th Grade out nationwide.

2005

Project 7th Grade piloted in ten states

Clear Choices audience grows to 43,000 students per year

2006

Requests for Project 7th Grade pour in from schools and organizations across the nation

2006

Project 7th Grade commits to 25 city nationwide expansion targeted for the fall of 2006.
