Emily Anne Gullickson joined the notMYkid Board of Directors in 2021, bringing her extensive experience in education, advocacy, and leadership. A Teach For America–Phoenix alumna, Emily Anne began her career as a classroom teacher and has since become a recognized national leader in creating opportunities for students to thrive in high-quality learning environments.

Her professional background includes serving as Founder and CEO of A for Arizona and Founder and President of Great Leaders, Strong Schools which collectively championed a dozen first in the nation education laws now being replicated across the country. She also launched a multimillion dollar Innovation Fund to seed innovative student-centered learning environments and new methods of transporting students. As Chief Executive Officer at the Arizona Chamber Foundation, she led initiatives focused on education reform, economic opportunity, and critical state policies. Emily Anne’s work has been recognized statewide and nationally, earning her honors such as Arizona Capitol Times’ 2021 Leader of the Year in Education and Best Activist, as well as an Inaugural Women Achievers of Arizona – Nonprofit Leader award.

Emily Anne’s passion for empowering youth and eliminating access barriers to opportunities aligns seamlessly with notMYkid’s mission. Her leadership and vision make her a vital part of the Board’s efforts to inspire and support teens and families.
