Aymet is the Interim Clinical Director at notMYkid, where she provides clinical leadership and helps ensure youth and families receive compassionate, individualized behavioral health support. An independently licensed clinician (LIAC) and EMDR-certified therapist, Aymet brings extensive experience supporting children and families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. She is also continuing her education through a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Aymet began her career working with children in a behavioral health treatment setting, gaining valuable hands-on experience in crisis intervention and individualized care. Since then, she has worked with diverse populations and grown into clinical and leadership roles involving direct care, program development, staff supervision, and organizational oversight.

Aymet loves working with teens because she gets to witness their growth and transformation as they navigate the journey into young adulthood. She values truly hearing their experiences, understanding their perspectives, and supporting them as they discover who they are and who they want to become.
