Kristen Genovese is the visionary Chief Executive Officer of notMYkid, bringing over 28 years of experience in nonprofit management to her role. Since joining notMYkid in 2015 and stepping into the CEO role in 2019, Kristen works closely with the Board of Directors to oversee the organization’s strategic direction and fosters meaningful partnerships with our generous donors, community providers, and national corporations.

Under her leadership, notMYkid has expanded its services to provide a full continuum of prevention, early intervention, and treatment programs. Her personal journey with a substance use disorder fuels her passion for reducing stigma and ensuring access to care for all who struggle with behavioral and mental health challenges.

She believes deeply in the power of early action and connection to save lives, and her leadership reflects a commitment to ensuring no family feels alone in their journey. Kristen is proud to lead a team of passionate professionals who work tirelessly to inspire and empower youth and families.
