Michael is a dynamic Community Coordinator at notMYkid, connecting youth and families to programs that inspire hope, growth, and mental well-being. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and holds a TEFL/TESOL certification. With experience across education, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors, Michael has built a career centered on empowerment and community connection.
Michael is passionate about prevention and the power of early intervention to create lasting change. A defining moment for him was attending a Spanish-language presentation in South Phoenix, where he witnessed the Latinx community uniting around teen mental health, a reminder of the impact of open dialogue and cultural connection.
Michael finds fulfillment working with teens for their authenticity, creativity, and potential to grow when supported. Reflecting on his own adolescence, he now shares a message of self-worth and limitless possibility, reminding every young person that the sky is the limit.
